TLDR: If you are looking for portable DSLR light, back light with some modern connectivity, the Lume Cube RGB Pro Panel works great in a smaller room. Works on a DSLR with the camera shoe attachment (standard) or can attach to a tripod.
Unboxing

The box came in a pretty well packaged boxed, simple and straight forward. Upon opening the case, it looked pretty simple - a USB C cord, a carrying case underneath the packaging, and no direct instructions.

Everything was easily removable, and I'm glad it didn't come with plenty of cords or complicated instructions. The one thing I was extremely curious was on how the bottom of this mounted to a camera or tri-pod mount. However after removing the contents from the packaging, it was your standard tri-pod screw adapter that came standard with the RGB light.

Seen above, comes with a nice carrying pouch that I normally leave my SD Card USB card adapter in with the USB A to USB C cable. You can see the shoe/tripod attachment in the plastic above. My only concerns is when you attach it to a DSLR, that it feels flimsy at first, and if you had to ever lean back (even when fully locked) it could just slide out of the shoe and straight into the ground.

After attaching the light however, you can definitely notice a difference in being able to see light exposure in different shots with the 3,000k to 5,700k brightness. I can definitely tell the difference between having it on and trying to shoot stock pictures with as an attachment.

Here's a few shots of the different color illuminations possible with playing with the RGB settings.
Battery Life
Unfortunately I have not got to run down the whole battery yet, but it was a little disheartening to see that when I charged it 100% that it would only get about 1 hour and 20 minutes of use. They advertise on their website up to 4 hours of use with 50% light, but who is really going to be using a light at 50% capacity? I would definitely be ok with about 2 hours of use, but anything that starts with 1 hour is definitely not something I'm hyped about in 2023.

VERDICT
If you are looking for something to brighten a room and take still pictures or continuous filming for less than an hour, this is a good contender. I do like the light weight versatility of the light, however the camera shoe could use some improvement. I'd definitely be okay if they added a few grams of weight to add a half hour of battery life and sturdiness to this light.
